CAPS Internet Banking - Second Channel Solution

 

STEP 1

Account holder registers for CAPS interactive TTS security system for their account by physically contacting their bank:


Registers one or more phone numbers to be used for authorizing transactions.

STEP 2

Account holder initiates transaction as normal from their internet banking account webpage.

The transaction is then confirmed by an automated call to the customer.s registered phone using text-to-voice technology.

The CAPS system will only authorize the transaction if the authorizing call, pincode and confirmation entries have been made to and from a phone number registered for the account.

Second channel calls from the CAPS enabled automatic call-out system are very cost effective due to the use of VO/IP (voice-over IP), with costs potentially as low as A$0.02 per 30 second call.
