A user or institution uses interactive TTS or web page access, (both interfaces utilize 128 bit SSL connectivity) to set card holder protection parameters.

For instance, a user could set the “Card and Account Protection System” to limit which merchants can debit their credit card; or to alert them whenever a credit card payment is overdue.

The Markets-Alert “Card and Account Protection System” automatically scans all transaction data until it encounters information that matches a customer or administrator set parameter.

The “Card and Account Protection System” can scan pre-authorization data using customer or administrator preset parameters. The pre-authorization request can be blocked if parameters are not matched.

Text to Voice allows customers to unblock / change parameters using secure pin codes whilst “out and about” ensuring “spur of the moment” transactions can occur.

Customer can reset parameters via Text to Voice secure pin code following transaction.

The “Card and Account Protection System” can send alert notifications using a variety of messaging
technologies (TTS, MMS, ICQ, M/M, E-mail etc.) Markets-Alert is very concerned about security and utilises SSL connectivity and 128 bit encryption wherever possible.
